I am saddened to hear that Carl has died. He and I began corresponding more than ten years ago after I fell in love with "My Vegetable Love." I've read and enjoyed every single one of his books since then. I'm so very sorry to hear that his voice has been stilled, and I send my condolences to Jackie and his whole family. Rest in Peace.
