Carl was a neighbor and friend. Always a pleasant word from a gentleman. One of his paintings hangs in my bedroom. The beautiful oil of a hillside covered with tall grass and Queen Anne's Lace is as mesmerizing today as it was 35 years ago. Something to remind me of both nature's beauty and Carl's remarkable talent. RIP
