Mr. and Mrs Loeper could not have been any more loving of us kids than they were. My fondest childhood memories are playing ball at the shop with Larry and Bryan chasing pop-ups or fishing at Bernharts. We'd drag a catfish home and stink up the whole house cokking it, but they had great patience. We went to so many baseball games with him I can't begin to count them. Mr. Loeper was always there for us. He was truly a great model for us.
