Not sure what to say?

Stevie, Joe, Carl, Tony, Kirsten, and Vincent your Dad was so special in MANY ways to so MANY in La Jolla. Always the first to offer to help with anything the baseball leagues needed and never wanting any thanks. As he watched you boys play, his eyes were always smiling!! He wasn't on his phone like other parents. His children were his world. His hugs were genuine. He loved family, life full of good times, and his faith. His Laughter was a force of nature full of such robust. We are...

Carl Joe, your dear friend from childhood, misses you terribly. Our wonderful days at the race tracks and our long talks about who will win the Derby, will never be forgotten! All the good memories of Christmas gatherings and New Year's celebrations, will never be forgotten. You will never be forgotten. You left us too soon! God Bless.

A great guy who loved his family. He will be deeply missed.

Dear Carl Joe, A year later and I think of you everyday most of the time. I wonder when the sadness will ease. I never imagined anything so difficult yet I am encouraged by the person you were here on earth that you are in God's hands. There are no words to describe how much I miss you and how lonely it is without you. I learned so much from you, mostly how to love completely and unconditionally. What an incredible gift. You are loved and missed and always in my heart. Watch over us and until...

Well Dad, it's now been a year since you've moved on and we all miss you more than ever. However, I know you are looking down on us and are very proud of what has happened in that year. Carl has started his own business and has really kept everyone together with his hard work and dedication. He definitely got your work ethic. Tony has started working and is taking care of the ranch. Vince just moved into his own place near UTC and went to Las Vegas for a belated 21st with Carl, Tony and...

Dad-You've been gone close to 8 months and the pain of your loss isn't getting any easier. I wish we could have one more day together as a family and laugh, tell stories, eat pasta, and just hang out. You would be so proud of CJ and Alexandra, CJ still points at your pictures and says "Papa!" He misses you so much. I wish you could have been here to see Alexandra, she is so beautiful. I miss you everyday. Until we meet again in heaven. I love you and miss you so much Dad.

Dear Stevie,Joe, Carl, Tony,Vincent, and Kristine...
I was so very very saddened to hear of Carls passing..
My memories of Carl were most fond..In the entire time I was working on the house on Calumet;from start to finish..Carl was an absolute gentlemen to me.
He was great to work with, and as the gentleman he was;he always showed me the greatest respect...
I loved being a part of the Maggio family;and will always cherish the memories of each and every one of you...With all...

Lisa and Family,

I only met Carl a few times but what I remember is his big smile and warm personality. He obviously brought much joy to Lisa and his family. He is lucky to have had so many people who love him. He will live on in your hearts and spirit. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Where do I begin? My dad was not only a father to me but he was one of my best friends. I miss him dearly. I miss his laugh and amazing sense of humor. I miss knowing he is only a phone call away. I miss his stories that I had heard a thousand times but he loved telling anyway. I miss a lot of things about my dad. But I am also thankful that I was blessed with such a wonderful father. Thankful for all the things he did for me and all the things he taught me. The real things he taught...
