Not sure what to say?

Dear Kristin,
With Carl´s passing we have lost someone, who was a good friend during our high school days (especially in Band). And when we got together at the 40th reunion three years ago, Carl´s smile seemed to bridge those four decades with ease. I`ll always have a warm place for him in my heart. All the best to you and your family,
Mary (Pearl) Krah, class of `65.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was out of town when my mom told me the news. I have known Pip for a long time. We grew up together in Lake Zurich. My parents and his parents were good friends. What I remember most about pip was his train set that he had in his basement. He did tell great stories and I will always remember his laugh, he always had a smile on his face, he enjoyed life. My sympathy to The Matter Family.

Carl was the first person I met on my first day at Ela and we ramained best buddies all thru school.Seemed like we had all our classes togather,German, psyic, english, and always band. The memories are all good. He was a very good man and will be missed by many. Our prayers go out the family

Working with Carl in the shop at Sears in Schaumburg was the best 3 1/2 years of my being in the work force. It was Carl that made it that way. His laughter could heard by all the customers out front, and I can still hear it in my mind. That's how I will remember him; as well as his work ethics and family values. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. God Bless.

I was so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I worked with him at Sears Service in Schaumburg. He was always smiling and jolly and everyone enjoyed talking with him. He had a great laugh.

I want to give my condolences to a fellow classmate of my husband;s, Dave Magnuson, 1966. Dave passed away 11/6/6 and i miss him dearly. I didnt go to Ela Vernon but he had lots of good memories, God Bless you all at this sad time.

I'm saddened to hear of Carl's passing. I remember him well for his humor and humanity. My condolences. God Bless.

Haven't seen Carl since High School...my mistake. I'm so sorry for your loss...I think mine, too. We needed to keep in touch.

Linda, I was very saddened to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
