Our sincere condolences to Carl's family. His mother Ruby was my Grandmother Lennie Johnson's (nee South) younger sister. Carl was my first cousin once removed. I'm sorry that we never met. I met only Grandma's elder sister Cady and her brother Ray's second (?) wife Gardener, in the '50s, but none of the rest of her family.

I had the pleasure of working with Carl for many years at Vancouver Bolt. I will always remember him with a smile. He took such great joy in pranking employees and even pulled quite an elaborate joke via phone on my boyfriend. He was such a special man amd patriot who loved his country. Cheers to you Carl. You will forever live on in my memory.

Brad and I both loved Carl he always had a welcoming story (usually about Owhyee Dam in Nyssa Oregon where he was born and Brad has worked for 32 years now). He always had a hug for me every time I saw him. He and Pat accepted me right away when I married his cousin, Brad Goul, 36 years ago. Such a sweet gentleman! He will be missed by Brad and I both.
