Carl and I were assigned together at 2nd Brigade, 1st CAV Division in Korea. We were good friends. He would fly us around while I took pictures in the seat behind him with both of our cameras. We kept up with each other by email for several years, but I lost touch with him. I was on the computer today trying to find out how to contact him and saw his obituary. I'm so sorry. He was a giant of a man and a good friend. I'll see him again.
