Dear Mellor Family,

My sincerest condolences on the lost of your father. I had known Carl since my early days working with the U. S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, from the late 1980's to when I left the SETH program in 2006. I retired in 2008. Carl was just one of the nicest persons I ever met. His generosity, kindness, knowledge, and true friendship will never be forgotten. I know his legacy through his son Reed and believe that he has made the World a...

To my dear kind father who gave me everything he had. To the person, my beloved father who was my rock, especially these last 10 years, whom I didn't get to enjoy and express my overlowing gratitude and appreciation for as much as I wanted to in your final years.
Oh my father, I have so many probing questions left unanswered that you created in your last few months with us here on earth, I pray I shall endure to the end to understand the events of our relationship. I often felt so precious...

Our family has many fond memories of your father. We had some great parties and food provided by Mellor Banquets and enjoyed a wonderful trip to Jerusalem. Your family has touched our family's lives. Our sympathy and love to you -- from Lucile Richards' children

Condolences to your family. My parents Lawrence and Bernice Butterfield wanted to attend the funeral but are unable to travel the distance because of illness. They have great respect for Carl's integrity shown his catering business. I remember at Sego Lily once when Carl substituted in my 5th grade class and talked about "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music - He was an inspiration to many. Lawrence remembers all of the children, especially Reed. We hope Carl's integrity lives on...
