Not sure what to say?

Carl, my dear friend. I think of you often with such fond memories. You were such a gentle giant - quiet and thinking - I loved your laugh and your many thoughtful gifts - you were a class act - when you hugged me I always smelled you for the rest of the day. I am sending you many hugs and love.

My friend for 35 years, you will be missed. Monte you have my condolences and prayers . Carl was a special person and you Monte were very special to him.

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange. We certainly have so many years of wonderful memories. Carl was a charter member of our choir group, and we enjoyed many years of get-togethers, travels and performances. I know the sweet music Carl is now enjoying with the Heavenly Choir will make his Choir group on earth very proud. He was indeed a talented, caring and loyal friend who was so loved and so admired by so many. Rest in Peace, my perfect...

I will always remember what an outstanding interior designer that Carl was. He designed the largest space for one of the Bellaire ASID show houses for 1997. The room was beautiful with touches of color with a neutral brown as the wall color, white sofa and beautifully colored silk drapes on the windows. Carl will be missed by both ASID, the interior design community and his many long standing clients.

So sorry to hear of Carl's death. I was a classmate of his at UT in the 60's, and then also moved to Houston for 30 years, keeping in touch with Carl periodically. He was an outstanding designer.

Carl I will always think of you when I see hydrangeas. You grew them so beautifully at the lake. Monte, I love you and I'm praying for you.

You have our deepest sympathy. May the God of loyal love comfort the family during your time of sorrow. Psalms 119:76

Another Angel has earned his wings. Thank you for leaving a forever lasting impact on my life! xoxo

Carl was and will always be beyond extraordinary! He had this charisma about him, he had this impeccable charm, vibrant smile, contagious humbleness about him. And dang if he didn't have amazing tan legs! They were darker than mine! His gift to us all was his incredible vision and legacy he leaves us with in his etraordinary designs and that special touch that made soooooo many homes/offices what they are today. Carl was not only a dear friend, but a partner in many collaborations in...
