It was a joy to meet Carl and share in a lunch with him at the American Legion a few years ago. Carl was loved by his family for his strength and the values he shared with them that shaped their lives. I hope his family can rejoice in their time together and recall their fondest memories of Carl as a father, teacher and friend.
