Dorothy Breckenridge

I miss you so much, Grandot! Happy Thanksgiving.

I was Dorothy's doctor for over 10 years and can say it was truly my privilege. She entertained me and my family in her home and I last saw her at Breck's funeral. I most remember how active she stayed even in her later years; she kept a social calendar that would have exhaused me, and would often state, "I can't understand why I'm so tired!" I feel fortunate to have known both Dorothy and Breck for thirty years or more while they and I were members of First Congregational Church in Minneapolis. I enjoyed being a member as they were (much longer of the Church) of Social Trends which held monthly evening at meetings at the church or in members'homes.
