Not sure what to say?

I served with Carl aboard the USS dam at odd 871 from 1965 till 1967 He was a great guy and a good friend . He will be missed.

I am still inspired to "Love yourself, Love others, and Love what you DO." and practice is daily! Thank you Mr. P.

Coach P, you will always be in my heart forever. You were one of the few who always believed in me and I will never forget that. My heart goes out to you Marisa for your loss. I know his spirit will always remain in you, it always has. You will always be missed coach, but never forgotten.

A beautiful spirit. A deep thinker. A snazzy dresser. A witty observer.

In the fall of 1990, my family relocated to West Hartford. I felt very different from my classmates(clothing wise) since I wore colorful headbands, wild print shirts and shiny patent leather shoes (a hip hop look).. We won't get into the pants!! HAHA During the first week, I was taken on tours through out the school. One day, while on a tour, a teacher took me aside and commented on my "unique outfit." I...

Coach, you were an incredible man and inspiration. Thank you for all you have taught me and everyone else who has ever known you.

Carl was a great neighbor who always took time to stop and chat. He was passionate about his teaching and spoke with great enthusiasm about his students and the wonderful ideas he had for them. His friendly attitude and smile will be missed by all of us in the neighborhood.
My condolences to his family for their untimely loss.

Mr. P was such a great man and an amazing educator. I can still remember him jumping on desks trying to get my class enthused about social studies. We all felt his pain that year when he first learned of the illness, but I'll never forget how he would still teach with that same huge smile on his face. We'll all miss you, Mr. P.

Mr. P, you impacted me more than any other teacher in my adolescent years. You did so many wonderful things and taught me so much. I will always be grateful for being able to know you. Thank you. My deepest sympathies go to his family during this time.

Thank you Coach P. for teaching me to have a positive mental attitude, to set personal goals, and for your enthusiastic pep talks on mental preparation as well as training for running a race. I appreciate and will never forget your commitment to the Conard cross country and track teams as well as the West Hartford school system.

My sympathy to your family and friends.
