Carl William Palley

I worked with Bill, often quite closely, at Gould Inc. in the 1970s and 80s. Many of my best memories from that era include testing of prototype sonar designs, of which many were made possible entirely by Bill's self sufficient ingenuity and mastery of all aspects of these complex systems. I will miss his terrific personal nature and his extraordinary technical competence. On a personal note, few true gentlemen of his caliber exist in any generation, and it seems they are getting fewer....

A life well lived, a "Mr. Fix it". Bill could fix anything and everything.

I´m so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. When I think of him (and your mom) I remember kind and loving spirits who always had a smile on their faces! Peace and comfort to you all!
