Carl Peters

Carl Peters of Cleveland, Ohio passed away April 21, 2025, at his life-long home in Slavic Village. He graduated from Lourdes Central Catholic and later Cleveland State University. He joined the U.S. Post Office and retired with over 30 years of service. He was pre-deceased by his father, the late Bernard (Ben) Peters, and his mother, the late Lynne (nee Chlanda) Peters. He is survived by his 3 older brothers: Michael (Susan) of Mebane NC, Tim (Jean) of Brecksville, OH, and Daniel (Catherine) of Independence, OH. He also had 7 nieces and nephews and 19 grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Visitation at Fortuna Funeral Home 7076 Brecksville Road, Independence, OH 44131 Monday, May 5, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until closing service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to a graveside service on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
