Not sure what to say?

May Carl´s name and memory forever be on our lips. A great man. Hard to believe he would be 100 years old now. How time flies!

Sending my prayers and good wishes to the Posten Family. Mr. Carl Poston has lived a life to be admired. He leaves you all a legacy of accomplishment, love strength and family. In your times of mourning remember that we will all leave this earth at some point, and the most important part of your life will be what you contributed to others. Wishing you light and love now and forever.

Sincere prayers for the Poston family at the passing of one of Saginaw's greats. I'll remember Mr. Poston as a great friend of my father and our family. Sorry I was unable to touch base during the funeral events.

I met Mr. Poston when I was a young attorney joining the bar in Saginaw. He and Mrs. Poston gave me positive examples of dignity and grace. I will always be thankful for them.

Carl's family is in our thoughts.

My Mother and Father had the utmost respect and love for Mr. and Mrs. Poston. He was a man of great courage and determination, who gave selflessly to the citizens of Saginaw. His legacy can be found in all of us who carry the torch he has passed. He will always be remembered in the hearts of those who value fairness and justice. Gone, but never to be forgotten in our minds and hearts.

I will always remember Carl Poston as a man before his time. An African American man who loved the sports of tennis and golf way before Tiger and the William's sisters. He passed his love of competition to his sons as well as his profession of law. The pillars of Saginaw leave a great legacy. Now, those of us who were fortunate to witness their accomplishments must continue carrying the torch. A life well lived! Our prayers are with you all!

My sincerest sympathy to your family at this time. Mary Jane Haithco McGuire, Lansing Michigan
