Not sure what to say?

Dear Diane, Charley & Stevie,

Mom and Dad send their love to you. They were so glad, as was I, when Carl came to visit. Dad loved giving him a hard time and took the same from Carl. I was glad that he and I were able to keep in touch via e-mail. I send my love to you and hope you take comfort that he is truly at peace.

Love, Joanne, Don, Aunt Gloria and Uncle Mario

Diane, Charley and Steve,

Memories of Carl: how prickly he could be, how he could express himself with such colorful language, his soft spot for his family, his generosity, his sense of fun, his love of the Red Sox and Pats and unquestionable disdain for the NY Yankees....

We'll miss him.

Love, Uncle Angie and Annie

Carl was our neighbor for a number of years. We became friends and took care of ach others lawn, mail, paper, etc. We shared a peachtree that we had planted and all the fruit hanging over on his side where his. Carl and I sat out front many times and discussed politics until it was time for me to go home, we were getting to involved on different issues. We also had many talks on his favorite sport teams, the Patriots and the red socks, which happen to be our daughters favorite teams. We will...

Greetings,
To Carl's family, I just wanted share a few words about my friend Carl. I met Carl through a friend, Katy Stark. Carl and I moved to Temecula at the same time. I woek in the Pest Office in Temecula. Carl would come in from time to time to do his mail. It was always good to see him! And yes, he was always his fiesty self.
About three weeks before Carl's death he came to our church, came to the alter and asked God to come into his life and to forgive him of all his...

I am going to miss Carl so much, words cannot express. He was so much fun and a TRUE friend. We first met back in the 70's and had some crazy times. We went to Fort Lauderdale together for a while and then lost touch for a few years when I moved to San Diego. Years later he decided to move to the West Coast and we have enjoyed each others friendship ever since. He had such a big heart and a big mouth "for sure", especially with that Boston accent! (but I loved it!) I'll always be...

Diane, Charley and Steve,
It was such a joy to have Carl here in California for these last few years. Being able to share the holidays and to visit each other without getting on a plane was just great.
Carl bore his illness with grace and courage. I am comforted by the knowledge that he is no longer in pain.

I met Carl just before he was scheduled to begin chemotherapy. He was in good spirits. He came to our church. It was a sight 'the church was on fire and the Holy Ghost too, from the tops of our heads to the souls of our feet, i felt the Spirit movin' all over me', (That's a song but that was what was goin' down) Carl was taking it all in i told him to buckle up it was gonna get hoppin'. It did! As the Holy Spirit began to move on Carl i asked him if he wanted to receive Christ as Lord and...

Carl was the Best Friend I've ever had. It was an honor to call him my friend. He will be missed more then words can say. I LOVED HIM DEEPLY!

Steve, Diane and Charlie,
So sorry to hear of Carl's passing. He left this world much too soon. I have wonderful memories of all the family get togethers at Nonnie and Papa's. I will always remember Carl wanting the kids to call him Mr. Wonderful and the t=shirt we had made that said Uncle Mr. Wonderful. Carl will be in my prayers.
