Mary and Family, Our condolences to you. Many happy times were spent on Cornell Street living next door. We always knew Carl would have a story for us. There may have been a few pranks in there as well. Our prayers go out to you. May he rest in peace.

David & Gemma & all, So sorry to read of your dad's death. I was in the dairy so many times, bought all our milk there & still haven't gotten used to it being in anything but glass bottles. He will be missed, but certainly had a good life.

My thoughts to all the Ruhlands. I have wonderful memories of living next door to you on Cornell Street a million years ago!! Fondly

My best friend sent me this notice about Mr. Ruhland. She now lives in Grand Rapids and I live in the Lansing area.Back in the early sixties we "hung out" at the dairy and even though we didn't spend much, Carl was very tolerant of us. I will always remember my time at the Johnson street dairy fondly. It really was like "Happy Days" and a group of kids could gather for hours over a 5¢ coke and play the jukebox. I'm sure Carl Ruhland is remembered by many.
