Dear Nonnie, Carol, Gail & family,
I am so sorry that I did not find out about Carl's passing sooner as I would have liked to expressed my condolences in person. Words cannot express my deep gratitude to God of having had the pleasure and honor of working with (at Edward Jones as his branch office secretary) and getting to know both Carl and you all, his wonderful family, whom I know he absolutely treasured and adored. He was so, so good to me, patient, generous and kind as were you...

Dear Nonnie,
We moved from St. Louis and Prince of Peace in 1981, first to St. Paul, MN, and a few years later to the Denver, CO area, which is where we are still. We are sorry to learn that Carl has departed from among us, but surely grateful that he now awaits his resurrection into...

Dear Aunt Nonie, Carol, Gail and your lovely children and husbands. Where does one begin to express what a exceptional, admirable man Uncle Carl is and will ever be. I'm sure he made some very good choices in his life, one of them I know for sure was picking Aunt Nonie for his wife. For many years you both waited and so desired a family, God was just waiting to bring into your hearts and home, Carol...

I'll always remember the story of Carl and my dad at some restaurant in San Diego when Carl intentionally mispronounces LaJolla, and the ensuing stares while Carl and my dad just laugh out loud. Glad they're together again cracking each other up.
