Not sure what to say?

I saw Mr. Schaad through the eyes of a child growing up, spending a great deal of time in the Schaad household as a friend of Lauren. Mr. Schaad was known to all of Lauren & Brian's friends as one of the "coolest Dads" we knew; he was FULL of jokes, love, compassion, thoughtfulness, positive energy, a passion for life & all of the good things in it. He taught many of us to laugh at ourselves & to appreciate those precious moments amongst family and loved ones. He was also a WONDERFUL role...

Dear Nancy,
We were so saddened to hear of Carl's passing, and then unable to attend the services which we heard so much about. It was great to connect with you on the phone and to meet with Brian in the gallery.
Carl will be sorely missed by so many people. We have thoroughly enjoyed knowing him and handling his wonderful paintings, always hearing his brief story behind each one. He was such a delightful guy.
We pray that your family's wonderful memories of him will long...

Dear Nancy, Lauren and Brian:
Bob and I are so sorry for your loss. My favorite and best memories of working at Heidrick & Struggles always included Carl. There is so much to be said of his sense of humor and many talents. Most of all, that he was a sincere friend.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with all of you.
May he rest in peace.
Love,
Jackie & Bob Leon

I was very fortunate to meet Carl and his wife Nancy--I wish it were different circumstances though. His light was just beautiful and his spirit was strong. I used to love the way Nancy looked at Carl so lovingly-- it showed how strong their love will forever be. May your spirit live on forever Carl. I will always remember your smile. From a D11 (Yawkey 2) girl.

Carl served as CEO of Pericor Science, one of our portfolio companies in Boston, MA. Even after leaving Pericor, and throughout his illness, Carl continued to help us find opportunities to further the company's technology and identify potential business partners. We are saddened by his loss and offer our sincere condolences to his family.

What a beautiful tribute. I was very fortunate to come to know Carl recently through his daughter and my dear friend Lauren. And, what a wonderful man he was. So kind, funny, and great dad, and one who I know will be greatly missed by his family. I wish much comfort and peace for you all. With love and sympathy,
Nicole

Dear Nancy, Lauren and Brian,

We are so sad for your loss. His always welcoming smile and genuine friendship will be missed...his great sense of humor too.

I remember Carl so fondly...his handsome face, his warm and welcoming smile. Nancy and Carl were two of the first people to welcome my family to Sherborn. I hope that all who loved him will find comfort in happy memories. My heart and prayers are with you now, and in all the days to come.
