Carl B. Smith, 77, of New Milford, PA passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.  He was born on January 23, 1941 in Harmony Township, PA and his parents were the late C. Burton and Frances Colyer.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley A. (Sherman) Smith.


 


Carl is also survived by his two sons, Daniel C. Smith, New Milford, PA and Steve Smith, Endicott, NY and his two granddaughters, Giannella Barvinchak and Delaynie Smith. 


 


Carl was a United States Army Veteran, he retired from Vail-Ballou Press in Kirkwood, NY and was a bus driver for the Blue Ridge School District.  Carl enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.  He was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan and enjoyed bowling, shuffle board and horseshoes and he especially enjoyed going on cruises.  Carl was widely known and loved by his family and friends. 


 


Calling hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home in Montrose, PA.
