Dear Aunt Eleanor, Sandy and Terry,
I'm sorry we didn't know about Uncle Carl's death. We have fond memories of 40 years ago when we would go to your house on the lake for my wedding dress fittings. Our paths crossed again time to time until Grandma (Grace Van Kuiken) passed away. You both made an everlasting footprint in our life, as you did many with all you did for others. Uncle Carl has gone home to heaven and I'm sure watches over you in spirit. May God bless you always.

My condolences to Ellie and Carl's family. My dad, Dudley Marvin was also a proud veteran of the Texas 36th infantry division. He passed away this year also. He enjoyed the time he was able to share memories with Carl. This world is a better place for their sacrifices!
