Not sure what to say?

Wow i didn't realize its been 9 years since Gene passed. We still cherish the memories and the good times we had at work and outside work. Gene was very easy to talk to, he always had good things to say. He is still missed by many and will be missed in the future, it was good to have known him. Clark Justice and the lunch bunch (the boys)

Can't believe you passed, big man. You were an awesome friend to my father and a great friend to me and my family. I know you and Sal are drinking some beers together and keeping an eye on all of us now. Fernandina and the world are a little less bright without you. All the love to you and your family.

Gene,

My first boyfriend. I'll always remember you. Today's your birthday.

Love,

Sue

Our sincere sympathy to Gene's family. We were family a very long time ago and we have great memories of Gene. He always was a very sweet and special guy.

Dear Friends,
When I read about the death of Gene, I remember when he was born and how happy we all were. Our family and yours have shared may things together, as your great grandmother and my mother were friends from the time they were 13 years old. My mother was there when your grandmother Carol was born and always said she was her first child. When I had my first child Lisa, Carol and Floyd traveled to Elizabeth City, NC the day before to see me as I could not travel at that time. ...

I will always remember a happy, gregarious man, much loved by family and friends. I know I speak for many, when I say "thank you" for all the smiles and the laughter. Rest in Peace, Gene. You will be greatly missed by all.

Gene and I shared a few years in band at Bayside HS, he on the drums, I in the horn section. Then later we'd run into each other once in a while when I happened by to hang out with the boys from Lakeview Shores. Always a regular guy, always with a twinkle in his eye and with the dry wit.

Rest in peace, brudda. Good thoughts and prayers to your family.

You always made us laugh man, always with the dry humor, no one could ever go to sleep in your class. You were a special friend to all of us, especially the Aunt B's lunch bunch. (the boys). We couldn,t bear to see you in any way other than what we remembered man, you cutting up and being Gene. We will miss you at your spot at the table dude. Love u man, Clark and the boys (Jimmy, Roy, Phil, George, Don, Leroy and Fank)..and Joy our favorite waitress...
