Not sure what to say?

Dear Lyn,
You know how much I loved Carl....He always had a sparkle in his eye and a spring in his step. He was a wonderful person, and made many occasions in our life special just by being there. I am so sorry for your loss and I will always miss and remember him. I wish I could have been there.
Sending you and your family much love!!

Dear Lynn, Amy and Laurie,
I am so saddened by the passing of Carl. He was such a wonderful man. A great husband, father, grandfather, doctor, and a friend to our family. My parents are away, and I know when they return, they too will feel his loss.

Dear Lynn and family,

I just read of the passing of Carl and though I don't know if I ever met him, I knew of him from my late mother, Minna.

So long, my friend, my guiding star -
It's not goodbye, it's au revoir.
....

Shared a great many moments discussing not only medicine but politics. He was a great man who will be missed by all who knew him.
