We served in the USAF together. Carl was my roommate in Trabzon, Turkey. We didn't know each other in Toledo, but we were assigned in the same room in the barracks. We spent most of 1960 together during our remote tour. We worked together and played a lot of pinnacle off duty. Carl was a wonderful person. He was a big help in making the assignment go fast. My Uncle Glenn, Carl, and the rest of the boys that hung around my parents house on the East Side in the '50s. I don't know how many times I got my head bumped on the arches in the house by riding on Carl's shoulders. Or getting yelled at for following the guys around (I was four!). I always looked up to Carl in more than one way..

Carl was a neighbor On Howland in East Toledo hung around with my Uncle Glenn Dupuis! Remember him going to his parents house in uniform! Reconnected with at Toledo Police department where I worked years later. Rest in peace
