I met Mr. Carl at Church of the Highlands before I became one of the greeters. His sweet and welcoming smile always be remembered for who he really was to me. Then serving with him was so much more than just greeting, seeing him loving on everyone that comes on the door, child or adult. You’ll be missed Mr. Carl but I know you are happy in heaven now. Praying for Mrs. Laura and the family in this difficult time.

Carl was just a breath of fresh air! He was the smile I remember when I was deciding to be a member of highlands, I would wait to go through his door lol. I’m so greatful for my friend Tina to introduce me personally to Carl and would later invite me to a small group where I had the honor to get to know Carl and Laura. It is a true blessing to have known and loved Carl! His snails and positive words have left a last imprint on my heart!!! I love you Carl and will see you soon!!

Great memories of "JuneBug"... what a competitor he was on the football field and what talent he had. I always enjoyed visiting with him when he managed the Gardendale Cracker Barrel.

Carl was so much fun as a greeter. He and Laura were in small group, I looked forward each Sunday to talking to Laura as Carl was doing his greeting duties. He was such a neat guy always happy and love Laura and praying for her in days ahead. If I were not 2100 miles away would be there Saturday!
