Not sure what to say?

I am sad to hear of Carl's passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers goes out to the Walker and Hylton family.

Dear Caren, Sean & Desiree,

I am so sad to hear about your dad passing. When I was in Boston, the Walkers (and Jana) were my family away from home. I thought your dad was a sweetheart. You were so blessed to have him and I hope you treasure the memories.

Sincerely

My deepest sympathy and prayers go to the Walker family during this time.
God Bless

Since our initial days in Painesville, I was always an admmirer of the family dynamics of the Hylton household. Their place was a meeting spot for the families and I learned so much. Barbara, who we all called Patsy, was the eldest child and always carried herself with dignity. When she married Carl, I am sure that all the familial experiences she was exposed to at home would infuse themselves in their lives together. Carl was an exception person who made a wonderful life with Barbara and...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Other than my parents, it seems I have known Carl all of my life. What is true is that I was in my teen-age years when he strolled into our lives and stayed for the duration. And, we were all the more fortunate for his stay because we all have benefited tremendously at one time or another from his goodness, his joyfulness, his graciousness, and always from his words of encouragement.

My heart felt condolences to his "rock-steady" Barbara, and his amazing children, Caren, Sean and...

To the Walker Family:

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a kind and gentle man. He always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.

I was sad to hear of Dr. Walker's passing because I realized I've known this man for almost 30 years. I can't say that about anyone other than family. He knew me in the years when I didn't even know my own potential. He always spoke of the importance of education. When Des ran out of homework, he had more. She was never allowed to leave the house before noon because only dirty people leave before noon. I think we hated him for that but I smile now as I think of it. It makes me laugh...

Mr. Walker will always be one of God’s true shining “stars!” He always reflected positive rays of wisdom and encouragement upon those he encountered. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten. May each of you find strength and comfort through God's abiding love during this difficult time.
