Not sure what to say?

To Carl's family, my deepest sympathy on your tragic loss. I have known Carl for over 30 years, as a customer at the Central Liquors. We have become good friends over the years, as we mixed wine talk with family talk and many other interests. We compared notes about children, their successes and setbacks. I'm very sad to have learned of Carl's passing. I have many happy memories of hanging out with him and the rest of the cousins as a child.

I am shocked and saddened by Carl´s untimely passing. He was a real mensch - kind, honest, knowledgeable and friendly. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Linda, My deepest condolences for your tragic loss. My heart is breaking for you right now... I know it will be a hard road, but I also know you will arrive at place of peace -- may the memory of this wonderful man be a blessing for you always! All my love, Melanie (from SJ)

Carl was a true gentleman and as genuine a person I´ve ever known. He was always kind and thoughtful in our times together discussing wines, trends in the wine industry or how the Mets were doing. He had one of the best palates in the wine business and was a great resource to many wine enthusiasts, including myself. I am thankful to have known Carl for over 20 years. May his wonderful spirit be eternal. George Staikos
