Not sure what to say?

Is this the same Carl Wemhoener who graduated in Piano Tuning and Repair from Western Iowa Tech Community College in 1977? I was one of his classmates that year and I remember him well. A few of us in that class are looking for our former classmates and would like to hear about Carl.

My sincere condolences on Carl's death.

I know this is very late it I just learned that Carl passed. He was an amazing man and I am a lucky woman to have known and loved him as a young lawyer. Helen Crawford Zajic

My Christmas card to Carl just returned marked deceased. I was wondering why I had not received his card. I am heart broken. Carl and I became friends when he was on a detail in Fall Church Va, I had travel to see him in Roanoke Va after he was always emailing me about the work he was doing on his house. He let me have one of his picture that he took in DC. I will keep Carl & his family in my prayers.

I worked with Carl for 10 years in Roanoke. We had followed a similar SSA geographic path from the Midwest / Great Plains, although we had not known each other then.
In recent years I came to learn of his interest in photography and art. He always had some cool pieces adorning his office walls.
He had a mastery of the work we do at the hearing office. When the tough cases came along, they went to Carl.
We also had many good chats. He often strolled down to my office late...

I am very sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I knew him as a gentleman and a scholar, and a fine companion. His Christmas cards were works of art.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Carl at the SSA. You all are in our Thoughts and Prayers.

I worked with Carl at SSA. He was quite. We did start talking about his photography. He had a picture in his office that had a tree and had colors of reds, oranges and browns in it and reminded of a scene in GONE WITH THE WIND. I am sorry to hear and very surprised of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Jane, my sympathies. Good memories growing up in our neighborhood. Kept in touch with Virginia till the last couple years of her life. I lived on Orchard Ave. between Quendo & Waldron. My prayers to you and your family at this time.
