Not sure what to say?

Carl´s father, Leonard (probably Lennart) was brother to Konrad Widman, my late husbands grandfather. He and Nancy hosted The Scandinavian Accordion Club of NY and we would talk about Åland until the views came home. Such great memories. I can still hear his voice in my head. I sure would love to make contact with Roy and Denise (Richie?) Write to [email protected] or find me on Facebook. Tack så mycket. Sov i ro Carl "Ole" Widman

Dear Roy and Denise,
We recently heard about Carl's passing from someone at the nursing home. During the time my Dad was there, Carl was always a bright spot for us with his wonderful smile and warm hugs! It was always a pleasure to chat with our "Swedish friend!" My family and I are so sorry to hear of your loss and wish you peace and comfort at this time. May all your good memories carry you through! God Bless your sweet father and may he rest in peace.
With sincere sympathy,

Ruth, Majdis is at Colony Center in Abington. I live in Holbrook and it is convenient for me. My brother was there with dementia. He died in June and she went in in July of last year. If you are down this way, she would love a visit. (277 Washington St Abington, she will be sending a card you probably won't be able to read. Just know she remembers your Dad fondly.

Knew, Carl for many years as a runner he was a jolly gentle soul!He was the highlight of my route!sorry for your loss

My mother, Majdis Flynn, who is in a nursing home, saw Carl's obituary and wanted to send a card. Since I have no address, I thought I would write a note. If you have a chance, please send an address. SHe would love to send a card. She has dementia, but remembers Carl and some things that they did at Faith Lutheran Church. Thank you and God bless you.

To Ruth, Roy and the Widman family. My sincere sympathies to you all. at this difficult time. I learned the game of Baseball from your dad and have so many fond memories of his encouraging way. He always had a smile. Thoughts are with you all...

As an insurance damage appraiser I did business with Carl for Years, as well as with Bert. He was always a gentleman, professional. We had a good business relationship. I'm Norwewgian and Swedish, we had this in common. He was a nice person and I'm sure will be missed by his family, friends and business associates.
