Read MoreI met and worked with Carla at SIG. She and I shared many stories and laughs as we talked about our teaching careers and children. When I was diagnosed with brest cancer last fall, Carla was one of the first to call and share her comfort and wisdom with me. I shall miss her infectious laugh, inspirational attitude,and joy for life. We are all blessed to have been in her presence.

I met Carla through Como Montessori School, and had the pleasure of covering classes for her several times. She was a wonderful teacher and a great person. She will be sorely missed, but I know she is in a better place now. May the Good Lord bless and comfort her family through this time of sorrow.
