Not sure what to say?

I still miss Carla. I was fortunate to spend some close time with her and get to know her in 2007/2008, and then she decided to move back to Colorado, but we stayed in touch as friends. A very good woman, a good person with a good heart, she cared about people and was interested in them, wanted to share with them and uplift them. And a great sense of humor.

Carla Mae will always have a little place in my heart. She was my first 'love' in junior high school, and a friend for so many years after. Still miss her. Brent

Can´t believe it´s been 10 years since Carla left us. I still think of, and miss, her. So many memories of 8th Grade `puppy love´, which was nonetheless quite real. And many years of friendship thereafter. Carla´s happy, impish smile and love of life. Easy to laugh with, but deep at the same time. We all miss you, Sweet Carla.

I knew Carly for a short time long ago. For a while we met the world to each other. I have always had wonderful memories of our time together. She was a wonderful person, and I'm sure she in having a great time in her next life.

Although we were not related by blood, Carla was my sister. All the years I have known her since we met in the Air Force, she had such a wonderful spirit. Her look on life lifted me up so many times. The pictures I have of us will always be near me. Her love for my children have touched them dearly and they always looked at her as Aunt Carla. I will miss my dear friend and my heart goes out to her family. God Bless you my angel. I love you.

I am so shocked I had written to her only a week ago. My condolences to her family and all her friends she was a sparkling spirit with a heart as big as the mountains she moved to, her sincerity was there for everyone that needed it . In many ways she was so full of life and she left many blessed with her love and caring so wonderful.

I only knew Carla a short time, but she touched my heart so profoundly. It's heart warming to see how she touched so many people. I feel honored to have known you Carla and hope that you are at peace. Lots of love, Ruth (King)

We are related by blood, but friends by choice. Thank you for being my friend. Goodbye for now...until we meet again.

We have lost a dear old friend. Carla was so very full of life, fun, mischief and genuine joie de vivre - I never recall her being down or negative. She was my first "love" while we dated way back in 8th Grade, but then a great friend and inspiration for the next 35+ years. Knowing she is no longer among us leaves one feeling that a light has gone out, though we know it now shines elsewhere.
