Not sure what to say?

To Carl, Bridget, Caitlyn, and Conner: So sorry for the loss of your mom / grandmother. May the love of friends and family carry you through.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Betty and I are holding you in our hearts and lifting you in prayer. Your Mom and Dad were the primary instruments in our coming to Dallas in '83. We enjoyed so many associations with them...at church, on the Sulphur Springs farm, and of course on Normandy. Carla reflected light, warmth, and love wherever she was.
We love you all!

To John and the Nix Family:
I was so sad to read about the passing of your mother. Although I did not know her she sounds like such a wonderful lady. She did so many positive things over the course of her lifetime. She should be an inspiration to us all. Her smile is radiant and brought tears to my eyes. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know you are all in my prayers. God Bless You All.

To Carl, Bridget, Caitlyn, and Conner: We were so sorry for the loss of Ms. Carla Sue Nix. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
Please accept our deepest sympathies.

My precious friend Carla, will be sorely missed.
Many memories we shared over 45 years. Some sad and some happy. We raised our children together at Preston Road Church. They were so close in age. I taught Rebekah SS at age 2. So cute with that red hair. Carl & John were such friends to my 2 sons, Wayne & Gary. My daughter's Laura Cheryl & Robin thought so much of "Mrs. Nix".
In 1983, Carla flew in to Abq. to attend Wayne's funeral. What a tribute & sacrifice for her to take time...

What a woman of grace and love she was. I looked at her with such admiration and respect. The world will miss her.
Carl, John, and Rebekah....I love you guys.

Rebekah and John - I saw your Mom just a couple of months ago and was so shocked and surprised to hear the sad news last night. She always had a big smile for me, was so sweet, and every time I saw her she wanted to know what was going on with me and my family. And we always talked about our love of gardening. My Mom sends her love but cannot be there Monday - it's just too soon after losing my Dad. But I will be there to represent our family. I pray for God's peace on you all at this...

I am so saddened (and shocked) by Carla's passing away. She and I were friends for many, many years---since Jr. High school. Even though Carla went to Armstrong and I went to Bradfield we were always very close friends. I was so glad that she came to my 70th Birthday Party three years ago.
My deepest condolences to her family who shared in and will continue to share in Carla's remarkable contributions.
I will miss Carla.
