Carla was a dear friend and roommate! We were the "4 Musketeers". Carla, Debbie Zetzman, Karen Wheeler, and I. We were planning a reunion at the end of October! I talked with her in March, and we picked up our friendship as if we were still in college!! I was so looking forward to seeing her! I was one of Carla's roommates at Texas Tech, and all of the roommates were hoping to get together for a reunion in October. We have been trying to reach Carla for months, and I am so heart broken to find her obituary today. To her family, we want you to know we are so sorry for your loss. We loved her dearly!

I will never forget our trip to Europe and down the Northern California coast. You were such a beautiful person and friend. You will be in my heart forever.

Carla, you are such a thoughtful, lovely person. We had lots of fun in Santa Clara and, those road trips through down 101, they still make me laugh. I'll miss your phone calls, tortilla soup and Southern drawl.
