Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace, my condolences to the family and friends. Had the pleasure of working with Tandy at West.

Carla and I taught Physical Education together at Russell Middle School for 12 years. She was an outstanding teacher and had the unique ability to connect with students in a way that many teachers didn´t. But, make no mistake, it didn´t take a student long to realize that she was not to be messed with. She was firm, but all the kids had a tremendous amount of respect for her. I am very saddened to see that my "friend in perfume" has passed after her courageous battle with cancer. My thoughts are with all her family and friends. She was a sweet lady and I always enjoyed talking about perfume bottles with her.

You will be greatly missed, my friend.

Carla was always sweet and kind. Raised some wonderful daughters! May she rest in peace.

Auntie, I am so blessed to have known you. You were an amazing person. I´m so thankful to have gotten to see you and talk to you before you passed away. I know you´re in heaven with uncle smiling down & watching over all of us. Love you Always.

I will miss her she always would say hi to me every where I work in monument she was very sweet

I met Carla around 1982 when I moved from Manitou Springs to Colorado Springs. I was in Little cottage right next to hers. Around same time I met Mark. Had great times and became friends with both. Move back north to Illinois and when on my way out to visit nephew in Denver got in touch with her after learning of Marks passing. Visited he numerous times over last 6 years and so glad I got out around Christmas last year to see her before her passing. Such a great friend.

Love and miss you forever mamaw
