There are no words that can express the loss that is felt when a loved when goes to be with the LORD. But the comfort of knowing we were able to share a moment of joy and a smile will forever warm my heart. Carla, you are a true angel and you will be missed until we all are joined again with the LORD. Thanks for being my friend and forever changing the lives of all the students you touched. Whenever I think of Carla these days, I see a little girl in a white dress, talking and laughing. And yes, I knew her as an adult, an important member of the public school system, but my memories won't let her grow up.
