Not sure what to say?

My humblest sympathies go out to the Okimoto and Mossman families at this time, for their loss of Carlene. Though I did not know her, I worked with Vaughn many years ago through the BYUH Physical Plant and I also had the pleasure of knowing Rebecca Mossman before my mission. My family and I are thinking about you all during this time. Much love and aloha all the way from Oregon.

Vaughn,
I just wanted to take this time again to thank you for TEACHING us. Thank you for bringing Carlene home,as I sat in the chapel that day what unveiled in front of me was the perfect outline of the Plan of Salvation. I felt very honored to be taught by the examples of your beloved wife and humbled to feel and witness the strength of your family. Thank you and God bless you and the children.

Bully,
My brother,I wish their was something that I could say or do to ease youre pain.My heart and thoughts go out to you and the kids. The world has lost a wonderful and beautiful person.I will miss her! The song "Jungle Rain" comes into mind, when she danced the "Hula"for my wedding, it is still fresh in my mind as if it was yesterday. That was 13 years ago. I love you Bully and I am there for you, bradda Joe

Bully,
I just cried and cried when I found out that Carlene passed. My heart goes out to you and your family. You guys mean soooo much to me!! I always felt loved and welcomed. Yours is a deep loss. She will be missed! God bless you and the keiki.

With much aloha. Representing the Hong family as well as myself.

I remember Carlene best from a playgroup we held in Laie. Carlene was always full of great ideas and was always happy to share herself with others. She opened her home and her heart to all of us. She will be missed...Love & Aloha,

Uncle Vaughn, Valen, Clint, Little Vaughn, Caylee, Caily, Cole and baby Carly,
Aunty Carlene has always been a huge inspiration to me, raising so many children and showing them the importance of everything. I remember her as if yesterday, she had a million dollar smile and was always a great person to talk to even though I wasn't that close with her. She was such a loving person. I want to let you know that I will always pray for you and your family to recieve comfort from our Dear Father...

We had celebrated New Year's Eve 2006 with the Mossman family at the Kurihara home. It was sixteen years since I'd seen Vaughan or Carlene. Vaughn, Both Brandy and I grief your loss, yet celebrate the wonderful life Carlene lived. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you ever need anything. Much love,

Maurice and Brandy Matsumori

Carlene had such a sweet spirit about her and I had always admired that about her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of sorrow.

Aloha Vaughn and Family,

May you continue to be comforted knowing that you will see your beautiful wife and mother of your children again. Thank you for letting me be a part of Carlene's celebration, it was indeed an honor. Carlene is the epitome of what a wife and mother and daughter of God should be.

God Bless!
