I was mentoring a new employee during Covid, and shared with him how I used Carltons lessons to purchase real estate. I just reconnected with him and he told me how he listened to me talk about the lessons learned, and now owns two properties and thanked me. I started listening to Mr. Sheets in the early nineties. I wore his cassettes out listening to them time and time again. I went on to buy many properties using his techniques. I started a Real Estate agency and had as many as 10 agents over my career. Carleton Sheets was the man that sparked my mind back when I was 14 staying up late hearing this man talk about making a life for yourself, making a living off real estate. Once I turned 18 I was off to the races and wet to university, I never forgot about that late night infomercial though and it always was in the back of my mind. I still have my course literature I received from Carleton when I was in my twenties and still refer to it sometimes.
