Not sure what to say?

I loved my cousin Carlisle! As a little girl I looked forward to their family visits each Summer all the way from Delaware- having no idea where this Delaware place was, but knowing it must be very far since it took a whole year to get there! To Carlisle's dear family,
Though we'll be in Bluffton for our annual convention, our hearts and thoughts will be with you as you lay Carlisle to rest. It has been a joy to know and minister to Carlisle these last almost nine years, and I will miss him - what a fine fella, and a good man!

May God bless you all in this time of loss, and may He give you the comfort of a holy hope for eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Fr. Ted

I had only met and talked to Mr. Carlisle a few times but he always told me stories about my grandmother Bessie Murrell. Bessie's brother John Nelson Murrell Sr was Ione's father so Ione was my grandmother's niece.and that made Carlisle her great nephew. I remember Ione and Leona coming to visit my grandmother. I will keep this family in my prayers.

Carlisle was most certainly a southern gentleman. I was there when he married and he's been part of my life for probably 60 years. I loved hearing his honeyed southern drawl; nobody made my name sound as lovely as he did! RIP, Carlisle.
