Not sure what to say?

Another year has gone by and your passing still hurts. You are forever engraved in my heart. Will always miss you. RIP

You left us way too early early. We are going to miss you. Many hugs to your family and friends.

I am saddened to hear that we lost a great Soldier and friend. He was professional and always took care of fellow Soldiers. Carlos was such a wonderful man and I am honored to have known and worked with him. He will be truly missed.

My condolences to the Chalacan family- Carlos was an asset and lived this: Cuando uno está ayudando a otro, ambos ganan fuerza.

I had the honor or serving with SFC Carlos Chalacan for several years. Getting to know him, I got to appreciate his professionalism, his teaching strategy, and his care and concern for Soldiers learning and doing their job correct the first time to take care of service members. His care for his family and those of the military made him stand out and professional. I thank God for the opportunity to learn and share with Carlos! Thank you for your service and friendship!

I wish I had known this hero. I pray that God puts a wall of protection around his family at this time.

RIP SFC Chalacan you were the standard and even a better dude. Often I think of you and the joy that always seemed to accompany you. I´m grateful for your short time of mentorship. Your attitude, kindness, and professionalism had an impact on me professionally and personally. This world will sorely miss you.
