Not sure what to say?

I think about Carlos a lot throughout the year. I still grieve for a life cut short too soon. Carlos had such a positive impact on me and all those around him. In the short time that I knew him, I did recognise that he was a one in a billion guy. I try to honour his memory with acts of positivity and kindness. Part of his legacy is a goodness that lives on.

To all who knew and loved Carlos,

I am so sorry for this devastating loss. He was a ray of sunshine. I had hoped against hope that he was not the big guy who worked at Neices and Liberty Hall. I am so, so very sorry, and I pray that in time, you may find peace.

So sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11,12 says,"For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you thoughts of peace and not of calamity, to give you a future ad a hope. An you will call me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you."

Mr. & Mrs. del Castillo & Mariel,

Carlos had me laughing from the first day of English class when I asked students to tell me what they preferred to be called and he explained that as he was Carlos "of the castle" he should be addressed as "sir". But it turned out not to be a joke. He was and will be remembered as a true gentleman. We are all so very sorry for your loss.

My condolence to the family. May God who comforts us in all our trials give you the strength and comfort to cope with your loss.

To the entire Del Castillo family;
so sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathy.

"Captain America" that's the nick name the Yard Dogs @ Niece Lumber gave Carlos, he truly lived up to that name. He touched our lives in the short amount of time we knew him. We will miss his "hey guys" every morning and his bag of food that he offered to all...our hearts are with his family, a devastating loss.

Dear Del Castillo family,
I'm a builder who met Carlos at Nieces a while back.As I have told many, every now and then you meet a young man who really touches you. Carlos did just that. From the never ending smile, the unbelievable work ethic to the sincere compassion for my dog.
God has an angel to watch over and inspire.His name is Carlos.My deepest sympathy.
Tony Danese

To the Del Castillo family,
I'm so sorry for the sudden and tragic loss of Carlos. Over time, I hope the realization of the joy that he brought to so many people will be of some consolation to you. He was so great to be around (always smiling or making someone else smile!) and I'm glad to have known him. He will be forever missed by myself and everyone else that had the pleasure of knowing him. My prayers are for Carlos and your entire family.
