A good memory of Charlie....how do I pick just one...well, I can't. I don't have one negative memory of this great man. Anna and I became friends during our rebelious teenage years, when most fathers hate their daughters selection of friends...not Charlie...Charlie (and Janice) was always warm and welcoming to everyone that crossed his path. He was the parent most of us should strive to be. There is no words to describe how I, and most everyone feel about his untimely passing, but maybe God...

Anna,Amy,Mrs.Garcia and the entire Garcia Family:
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have found myself coming to view the guest book wanting to sign it yet not knowing what to say. It seems like just yesterday we were all together in California for Nationals or just being at Lim's for class.Yet when you think about it,it's been at least 10yrs.Every memory I have of Mr. Garcia he always had a smile on his face or something encouraging to say other then when he was being hard on...

I was so very sorry to read about Charlie's death. I didn't know his name until then. He didn't know mine. But most mornings our paths would cross at the Post Office and he would say, "Good morning Senorita" and then we would exchange a few pleasantries while picking up our mail. I would always leave with a smile. I will miss him. My sympathy to his family. May you feel God's arms around you during this difficult time.

Amy

Im so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you.

Sooo, I remember when we were kids Charlie would holler at Anna when we would get in trouble. I can still hear him from downstairs......AAAANNNNAAA!
Back in May me and Uncle Charlie were talking and he was saying how much of a smart mouth I was when I was little and my response was how much of a grumpy old man he was! He said he wasn't old back then.
Charlie was a great uncle and he will be missed! I just wish I had the opportunity to get to know him better in my adulthood.

There is a song about a man who didnt half to be the dad he was called "didnt have to be" by Brad Paisley, this to me is my dad. He went above and beyond on everything. Never once favored one kid to the next. He did everything in the world for us. When we were little we would ask my dad for something and he would say no, but our standing joke was just wait 5 mins and he would change his mind. My dad was kind of my support system. He was the only one to tell everyone else in my family to let...

To the Garcia family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a very great and generous man. I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing him in life. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
