Not sure what to say?

Carlos was a good friend when I didn't have any. I wish he was still around.

I can't believe he's gone. He was such a force -- such a giving spirit. He lit up every room. I wish he could have met my daughter. I feel so lucky that I got to know him even the small amount that I did. His extended frisbee family will keep his spirit alive always.

One of the nicest human beings I ever had a chance to meet in life. I knew him since 4th grade, with a happy smile and super intelligent personality. While I will miss his light being out there in the world, I feel the world was honored to have the time his life gave us.

It breaks my heart to know that the pure spirit that was Carlos is no longer in this world. His passing is a great loss for his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched. Prayers for strength go to all of us who loved Carlos.

Dear Adele, We are holding you in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Bill and Kathy

Carlos was such a kind and generous soul. I met him in graduate school where his drive and motivation to succeed was born of a love of the natural world and balanced by a yoyful and playful spirit. It didn't take much prodding to get Carlos to come out for a pickup ultimate frisbee game. What a devastating loss for those lucky enough to have Carlos in their daily lives and for the rest of us who knew and loved him. Not to mention the planet. I trust his spirit will live on and guide us toward...

Where are the words that can describe such a loss to family, friends, community, and those who were yet to benefit from what Carlos had to offer. I've had the good fortune to teach many wonderful youngsters, yet Carlos has always had a special place in my memories. It wasn't just his exceptional abilities and talents, but more his thirst for learning- always looking for a bit more- and his joyous personality that set him apart. My condolences to his family at this difficult time-

My sincere condolences. It must be so hard to suffer a tragedy like this. May you find comfort from the Bible. James 1:13

Carlos's living legacy,

Just hearing his name always brought a smile to my face and laughter in my heart. I graduated from Enterprise High School with Carlos and had the pleasure of attending our senior ball with him in 1989. His love and passion for our planet and all it's creatures pushes me even more to advocate and educate in his memory. Thank you dear Carlos for gracing our lives with your spirit, your kindness, your energy. You will never be forgotten!!!
