Read MoreThe last time I saw Carlos was at our 50th ST. Joe class reunion. I made plans to visit him in Santa Fe and look at his land and trees. I talked to him few times, he really loved the mountains and the forest . We were room mates our senior year-great times we had a blast. We were fellow New Mexicans. I will miss him.

My husband went to high school with Carlos therefore I got to know him at the reunions. Any short conversation with Carlos and you quickly knew how studied and accomplished he was. He was generous in that he shared his viewpoint of the world with me. I always left Carlos wishing I could visit with him more. Thank you Carlos for all the student lives you have touched.
