Cheryl I share you pain and wish you and your family my deepest sympathies.
I met Carlos at the University of Texas. We were room mats and became very close friends. My father was my greates influence in my life, Carlos was the second greatest.
I worked at the Austin Urban Renewal angendy and related my experiences to Carlos. When he apply to HUD after his graduation he use my name a reference.

Carlos was the Deputy Director in CPD at HUD, the office I worked in, and a nicer person could not be found anywhere. We all loved him and enjoyed working for/with him. I pray for his family as they move forward without him.
