Not sure what to say?

You are always in my heart and mind my friend.

M y deepest condolences to the Tamayo family. Carlos was a wonderful person who contributed to what makes Santa Rosa so special. I always looked forward to seeing him at La Tortilla Factory and sharing our mutual passion for Gardening and food, and family! Via con Dios mi amigo.

Our family has enjoyed many tortillas from Tamayo's La Tortilla Factory over the years, always remembering the ever-friendly greetings and kindness of Carlos and his brothers. Far from Santa Rosa, we're still enjoying his tortillas in memory of Tamayos a wonderful Sonoma County family.

I remember Carlos from so long ago when I worked at United California Bank in Coddingtown. He had also worked for UCB and was in the process of obtaining and SBA loan to start his business. We was good friends with Mike Kelly the manager and the loan was approved and funded. The rest as they say is history. I later worked for Pella windows and my store/office was right across N.Dutton Ave from the first business- a Mexicatessan with the tortillas made in the back. This was long long ago...

I am sending prayers and love to the entire Tamayo family.

Alayne Tamayo and Family, We were saddened to read of Carlos' passing. I have known the Tamayo family for many years and have always adored the love and togetherness of the family. Carlos was a patient and kind man who absolutely loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren. He is now at peace surrounded by his Dad, Mom, and Bernie. Sending our thoughts and prayers!

I worked at La Tortilla Factory when it was in South Santa Rosa. Every day Carlos would ask me how I was and knew who I was. He was a great leader and will be missed.

Wonderful giving person
