I just searched again and i am saddened to see his obit, yet i rejoice knowing he is receiving his reward for his life-long service to the cause of Jesus Christ. He was such a major influence on my young adult life in the mid to late 70's and early 80's. My heart is broken for the loss of a brother in Christ, a mentor, and friend. I called him many times, some just checking on them and some for spiritual advice. There is a hole in my heart. I grew up at Selma Baptist in Woodruff where he pastored for years. I was the youngest member when, under his leadership, we added on to our little country church. We are so sorry for your loss. Know that there is such a wonderful homecoming going on in Heaven. Im so sorry to hear of preacher watsons passing . He was a fine man and pastor and friend . We remember him well at new hope when ore children were small .
