Mr. Carlos Welch was my late father S.Krishnan's dear friend. We have had Mr. Welch be a guest in our house numerous number of times. A lot of our ( me and my two brothers ) thoughts and ideas of giving to others were formed by our interaction with Mr. Welch. His last visit to India was in late 2014 or early 2015 a few months after my father passed. It was once again a great pleasure in meeting him and Saroj( Aunty as we called her when we were kids). i believe that he was one of my fathers...

Carlos and I were employed at the Dairy Science Department at LSU many years apart in the Dairy Improvement Program. He was a good storyteller and was a joy to listen to about their (he and Saroj) many travels and experiences. A great neighbor and fellow activist. He is missed. RIP.
