Not sure what to say?

Mr. Williams: (I'm going to call you Bruce!). You are among the faithful friends of my brother Bruce (you have that name in common). If you are like me, you get messages on your computer that serve as reminders. It takes time out of your busy day to continue checking this site. It seems like time is speeding by for us all. I am of the age now that I could join my brother Bruce, my Dad and my Mom at any moment. I haven't been all that I could've been, but I had a last conversation...

Hello my dear friend Dr Bell. Sorry I´m just now dropping by, been a crazy year. This past weekend I was telling another friend about what a magnificent doctor of medicine you were! Still haven´t found one like you and doubt I ever will. Remember to save me a place at the table. Continued prayers and blessings to your family.

JoEllen...Wow where has 15 years went?...I read every message each year (love seeing your updates) but I haven´t written anything in awhile...I loved Bruce as my doctor and my friend and I think of him every single day...No one listened to my problems like Bruce and of course he always had a answer for me medical or personal he was truly the best and I miss him dearly...Hope things are well with you and your family

I was surprised that you saw my response to your post and touched again. Bruce was the most fun of all my brothers. He had tons of energy and was always thinking up a project to do. He saw that our Mom did way more than should have been her share of the household work. His two older sisters (myself included) no longer lived at home, so Mom was the only female in a house with our Dad and 4 boys. Bruce rightly assessed that if didn't help Mom with her inside chores (she & dad also grew all...

Thank you Ms Blissit. You are so right. Your brother left a great legacy and touched the lives of so many in the best way. This perpetual memorial your family created honors Dr Bell´s legacy and allows us to remember the impact he had on our lives. Your brother´s life is a textbook example of what we should all strive for. Happy Mother´s Day (if you´re a mom). May God Bless you and your family.

Mr. Williams, I saw your post tonight, and I just wanted to say thank you for remembering Bruce this year. I hope you feel comforted when you touch base with this site and offer your memories and thoughts of your old friend and physician (and my brother), Dr. Bell. Posting each year keeps a candle lit for all of us who have visited the site over the years since Bruce died and who are comforted by their shared memories. While we don't know each other, we have a friend in common. I have...

Hey Dr. Bruce, wow another year! It's so nice to be able to come here each year. I found a doctor that reminds me of you; my new PCP is only a fraction as good as you, but that's saying quite a lot. You set the bar very very high. Save a good place for me, talk to you next year. God bless.

I posted last after our Mom died, but today when I received this email, I felt I had to post again. Once more, a member of my family (another of my brothers) is very ill with a form of cancer that is treatable for some time, but ultimately there is no cure. Bruce, if you are listening, send me a sign or a message of some kind because this is becoming very complicated with every day that passes. I need your knowledge and decisiveness. I'm dealing with doctors, employers, insurance, cancer...

One more thing, Bruce: Yes! I got my Covid booster!
