Not sure what to say?

To Gail and the Beltons, I was so sorry to hear about Carlton. I haven't seen any of you guys in a very long time. Yes, I go back to the 27th Street days also, memories, sweet memories.

BLOCK AND I GREW UP TOGETHER IN CHURCHILL. I USED TO SEE HIM AT MCDONALDS EVERY OTHER MORNING. WE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT THE OLD DAYS OVER CHURCHILL. I WAS SHOCKED TO HEAR THAT HE PASSED AWAY. I KNEW I HAD NOT SEEN HIS CAR IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS, SO I DECIDED TO ASK SOMEONE AT MCDONALDS, THATS WHEN I FOUND OUT. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
PLEASE TELL NAT TO CALL ME AT 355-8601. BUTCH.

Gale, My mother Helen and I were truly sorry to hear of your loss. We know that the Lord will continue to bless.

Gail and Bird, May all your tears and sorrow eventually fade away, leaving memories of your loved one to help you through each day. You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. I know that God will give you the strength to endure these days. Keep the faith and remember the good times that God allowed you all together. May God's love bring you comfort and strength in your time of need. God Bless

To the entire Belton Family:

Words cannot express the shock and sadness I felt on the news of the passing of one of 27th Street's finest, Carlton Belton. I am sure that all of the kids who grew up in the 800 block of 27th street have some fond memories of Carlton and we will keep those memories dear to our hearts. Please take comfort in knowing that to be absence in the body is to be present with the Lord. Be blessed and be encouraged.

With Love and...
