Uncle Carlton - I am going to miss your
e-mails and especially I will miss talking
with you. I did not know my father's side
of the family that well, but I'm glad there
was you to tell me about the family. I know
Dad will be there to meet you in Heaven and
all the family gathering around and singing, playing there musical instruments.
And here's a quote I thought was nice
"Heaven is a place nearby. So there's no
need to say Goodbye." And Toni thank you
for...

Our deepest condolences to Toni and Family. He was friendly to us when we first arrived in the neighborhood and even presented us with a hand built birdhouse, which we still have. He was always so kind and encouraging to our son and we are better for knowing him. We are so sorry for all the problems he had gone through over the past couple of years and will definitely miss his easy-going manner.

My Uncle lived with us for a few years, when I was 4/5 years old. I would sit on his lap and he would have an ice cube in his mouth and he would say he swallowed it and burp it up. I would tease him to perform this amazing trick over and over again ! He was so awesome!

The memories that myself and my two sisters have and my brother have had for many years are great memories.
Uncle Sonny moved in with my family when I was around 4 years old but I can't remember that. My MOM Ruth Colby Smith took Uncle in when his MOM passed away. He lived with us for about four years. Uncle Sonny was my favorite Uncle. Every time I saw him he would start picking on me, And Guess What I gave it right back to him. He loved it as I did. I'm so thankful that last month we the...

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. Uncle Carlton holds a special place in my heart. I have many happy memories of good visits filled with humor and stories of the childhood he, my mom and their siblings shared, particularly in North Charlestown, NH. I, too, rejoice in the resurrection with our Lord and Savior and am grateful to know that he had many loved ones waiting for him upon his arrival in Heaven. Judy L. Hayward

Our deepest condolences to Antoinette and all of Carl's family. Carl was a good friend for 54 years. We go all the way back to the days of punched cards at P&W. He was a man of conviction and determination. He survived the loss of his home during a tornado, rebuilt but never complained. During many phone calls, he never once complained or felt bitter about his illness. We thank him for his service to his country. We'll miss his smile and quips over dinner on our visits to Ct.
